Approved Application Enables Indiana Push

KAX Media America Inc, the US subsidiary of Group Plc, completed the requisite application processes and was approved by the Indiana Gaming Commission for the provision of services to licenced gaming operators in the state.

Host to a number of professional and college sports teams, the Indianapolis 500 and millions of passionate sports fans, Indiana provides an excellent opportunity, the firm said, to take its rapidly expanding American business to the next level by offering performance marketing services to licenced operators in yet another state.

“Indiana got it right by offering mobile sports betting and the state represents a significant opportunity for sites like to connect sports fans with high quality sports betting content like top daily picks,” said Charles Gillespie, Chief Executive. “Now having gone live with business deals with operators in Indiana, the Group continues to solidify its position at the forefront of the growing US market.”

Despite neighbouring states not fully on board despite licenced online sports betting, Indiana profits from Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, and Illinois players travelling to place bets, further increasing the Indiana sports betting market’s ability to flourish.

Max Bichsel, VP US Business at Group, said: “Given the state’s affinity for both professional and collegiate sports, Indiana is a promising market. We expect competition to thrive, given the regulatory environment which allows dozens of operators to conduct business.”

Operating in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, Group announced regulatory approval earlier this year. As more states legalise and control sports betting, the group said it will continue to seek acceptance across America.
