GambleAware Updates Safer Gambling Campaign For Summer 2020

GambleAware has modified the nationwide Healthier Gaming Initiative to increase awareness about the United Kingdom’s New Gaming Rehab Program.

GambleAware has unveiled a new operation blast to support the # BetRegret healthier gaming campaign and increase recognition of the UK ‘s gambling risk reduction and support programmes with the return to global sports coverage through TV and internet verticals.

Targeting an exciting cycle of football, spanning 92 matches over six weeks, GambleAware has commissioned a new #BetRegret show starring former England goalkeeper David James’ emphasising how easy it can be to make impulsive bets.’

Alongside other big media channels, the upcoming # BetRegret show will be advertised through Sky’s YouTube channel and Twitter account.

July and August will also see the beginning of GambleAware’s ‘Start to Regain Control’ – a new initiative to support the National Gambling Treatment Service.

The UK’s Nationwide Gambling Recovery Scheme, refurbished in 2019, is a network of NHS syndicated agencies partnering together to offer secure care to those with gambling-related harms – free to use across the UK.

GambleAware said it is targeting ‘people aged 25-34’ as it launched its print and advertising initiative and is isolated from their family and friends. It said they would have faith in the Nationwide Gambling Addiction Provider network’s provided support services.

Further outreach projects include GambleAware supporting the UK’s 24-hour National Gambling Helpline and raising general awareness of ‘self-referrals by people at high risk of gambling issues’ to rehab facilities and online assistance services.
