One of the oldest and most popular bingo sites, Foxy Bingo has signed on to sponsor dating show, First Dates. Foxy Bingo will begin their sponsorship as of mid-February. This goes to show Bingo isn’t only for dinner and drinks — it’s an ideal way to communicate with potential love interests. Over a casual game of bingo, you can speak freely about what you really want out of life, without having to actually say it out loud.
First Dates is tremendously successful in the UK, with an audience of over 10 million including those watching on catchup and on-demand. The success of the site has seen it shown in more than 20 countries around the world and is one of the most popular shows on both Channel 4 and E4
The contract involved 32 episodes, series including spin-offs such as First Dates Hotel and First Dates Australia.
Before each episode you will see Foxy appear before the show. Much in the same way Gala does on the hit show The Chase.
Show resonates with bingo audience
Foxy Bingo’s Brand Director, Anna Venturas, said of the First Dates sponsorship agreement: “We are delighted to be sponsoring First Dates throughout 2021, the show really resonates with our audience and we truly believe that this will be a perfect fit for both the programme and our brand.”
“Throughout 2020, Foxy Bingo players enjoyed our online games as well as engaging in our chat rooms which provided many people with some much-needed fun and entertainment.”
“With the sponsorship of First Dates, we hope to reach even more of our audience so they can make a date to discover some firsts. They may not find love, but they will certainly find our Foxy Fabulous community.”
In 2018 and 2019, the hit TV show Friends was sponsored by Foxy Bingo before securing the deal with First Dates Gala Bingo, sponsoring The Chase, and Sun Bingo, sponsoring The Jeremy Kyle show from 2018 until it was removed from the airwaves, were other popular bingo sites to go down the TV sponsorship path.
