Fortuna Entertainment, the leading CIS bookmaker, has completed the full migration of its Polish sportsbook property to the ‘IMS platform’ Playtech.
Maximising its group’s omni-channel capabilities, Fortuna has licenced Playtech to introduce new product integrations across its active market portfolio, which is seeing Poland enter Slovakia and the Czech Republic home markets in upgrading to IMS.
Completing its deployment in Poland, Playtech development teams will now switch to update Fortuna systems for the Croatian and Romanian markets, which are expected to go live later this year.
Per Widerstrom, ceo of Fortuna Entertainment Group, said: “Our strategic partnership with Playtech continues to be integral to our growth plans, as well as our successes so far. This migration will offer Polish customers a leading user experience, and more broadly it confirms our omni-channel leadership in Central and Eastern Europe.”
Fortuna has already emphasised the importance of completing its 2020 programme updates, which will see all of its CIS sportsbook profile management under a single platform, thus increasing capacity and reducing costs.
In addition, Fortuna must ensure a ‘360-degree view’ of its participants, unrestrained by individual market conditions, which must provide better customer support, communication and interaction with the responsible gambling tools of Playtech.
Shimon Akad, chief operating officer at Playtech, added: “This is just the latest step in what continues to be an impressive growth trajectory for Fortuna, and we know there is a lot more to come.
“As well as highlighting the power of Playtech ONE as a solution for licences, this is also a prime example of how Playtech can be the technology provider of choice for companies as they expand and build their offerings in new markets.”
