Flutter Entertainment renews its lead igaming supply services deal with Playtech Plc, giving the FTSE250 technology company another tier-1 operator contract extension.
Playtech Plc will continue to work as the lead online gaming app and games provider for Flutter’s Paddy Power, Betfair, and Sky Casino brands after securing a new five-year deal.
Core strategic technology partner
As its flagship brands seek profitable growth through highly regulated European online gaming markets, Flutter has branded Playtech as a core strategic technology partner.
Conor Grant, CEO of Flutter’s UK and Ireland Division said: “We are pleased to have signed an extension agreement with Playtech. Over the years we have built a very successful partnership and are excited to continue offering our customers access to software from one of the world’s leading suppliers of high-quality gaming product.”
Playtech will continue to provide Paddy Power, Betfair, and Sky Casino with exclusive dedicated studios for their live casino services, including the debut of Sky Vegas Live Casino.
Tier-1 igaming extension contracts
With tier-1 igaming extension contracts with Kindred Group and Norsk Tipping, Playtech shows its solid commercial traction for 2021.
Playtech’s Chief Operating Officer, Shimon Akad, said: “Flutter is one of Playtech’s key strategic partners, and so this new long-term agreement to supply our innovative software and services across four key product verticals is significant.
“This is testament to the long-standing and strong relations between Flutter and Playtech, and we look forward to continuing to work with Flutter in its core markets to support Paddy Power, Betfair and Sky Casino over the next five years.”
