Flutter Entertainment Plc, the FTSE100 gambling company, has announced a series of boardroom changes.
Flutter’s present Deputy-Chairman Divyesh Gadhia and long-time Non-Executive Director Peter Rigby have both announced that they would step down from the boardroom after the company’s annual general meeting on April 29.
The FTSE company has reported that Holly Koeppel and Nancy Dubuc will be named as independent non-executive directors starting in April.
Dubuc is the current CEO of Vice Media, a prominent youth-oriented global entertainment and news publisher, and is a high-profile US media and marketing executive.
Flutter’s US activities have now been expanded with the inclusion of corporate finance specialist Koeppel as a strategic advisor.
Koeppel, a corporate law veteran, now advises British American Tobacco Arch Resources Inc and AES Corporation in the United States.
Company chairman Gary McGann said: “Following an international search as part of our on-going Board renewal process, I am delighted to welcome Nancy and Holly to the Board. Nancy brings a wealth of experience in the media and entertainment sectors to Flutter.
“Holly has extensive experience of regulated consumer-facing businesses in the US and international markets. We look forward to Nancy’s and Holly’s involvement which will add enormously to the diversity of thought and perspective on the Flutter Board.”
McGann lauded Gadhia for his “invaluable contribution” to the company’s transformative integration with The Stars Group Inc, which “ensured that shareholders were appropriately represented and rewarded,” according to McGann.
During his seven-year governance career, Rigby was lauded as a “company stalwart” for leading the company’s leadership through numerous M&A and regulatory cycles.
