FloSports.tv To Increase International Horseracing Content With HBA Media Deal

Texas-based OTT Platform FloSports.tv (FloSports) is set to increase its foreign horseracing content substantially after winning a top package deal with HBA Media.

The streaming service based in Austin has secured a media package covering the most valuable events in international racing, including the $20 million Saudi Cup, the Dubai Racing World Cup, the Gold Cup at Cheltenham Festival and the Golden Slipper race at the Turf Club in Australia.

FloSports is a specialist OTT network that has expanded its North American market to date by providing unique live broadcasts and original content from professional sports and high school tournaments in the United States.

In 2019, FloSports reported a 170 percent increase in new subscribers as its audiences watched over 174.7 million minutes of VoD content throughout the year, and continued to broadcast more than 309 million minutes of live streams covering 200,000 youth sports competitions for its subscriber base.

HBA Media is a syndicated partner of the Racecourse Media Group which allows media brokers to sell packages of racing content to international stakeholders.
