FanDuel Announce Multi-Year Agreement With DC United

A multi-year agreement with DC United has been confirmed by FanDuel Group , making the online gaming firm the Major League Soccer (MLS) team’s exclusive sports betting sponsor.

The agreement is FanDuel’s first sports betting collaboration with an MLS team, and the intention is to open a retail sportsbook at Audi Field in 2021, pending the DC Lottery’s licencing and regulatory approvals.

Various betting windows and self-service betting terminals are open to sports enthusiasts 365 days a year in the retail sportsbook, as well as bets on all major US sports, including professional soccer, baseball, football, basketball, golf, boxing, motor racing and more.

Sam Porter, DC United’s chief strategy officer, said: “DC United is looking forward to the opportunity of working with a first-rate operator in this new and exciting space.

“The FanDuel sportsbook is best-in-class and we believe their expertise, technology, and product will provide our fans, guests at Audi Field, and the Buzzard Point neighborhood a full-slate of entertainment options.”
