FanDuel And WSC Sports Collaborate In Golf Initiative

FanDuel Group and WSC Sports, a Tel Aviv-based startup that leverages artificial intelligence to produce highlights from live sports broadcasts, have collaborated to push users of the FanDuel Sportsbook app with real-time highlights of golf events.

In a statement, FanDuel said the deal represents the first time that a US sports betting company would provide sports bettors with highlights packages.

‘Superpowers’ to video editors

Through using AI to automatically analyse live sports broadcasts, recognise each and every incident that happens and then produce personalised short-form video content that can be published on any digital destination, WSC Sports’ technology offers ‘superpowers’ to video editors.

This partnership will allow FanDuel to improve its customer experience in near real-time by sharing in-game action directly with its users on their mobile phones.

Best highlights

Starting with golf

For every kind of sports fan, the WSC Sports platform produces customised automatic highlights. The technology currently automates the editing process of highlights for 17 different sports. The relationship between the two companies starts with content unique to golf, but allows for the chance to expand into other sports.

Both are able to include both fantasy sports and betting-related in-app integrations and highlights, automatically alerting users to the success of their teams and players.
