After securing game certification to go live in Lithuania, live dealer gaming provider Ezugi has realised the next step in its global expansion strategy.
Ezugi, which has been part of the Evolution Gaming Group since January 2019, is also becoming “the first live dealer to launch in Lithuania” in an effort to grow its presence in regulated markets worldwide.
Ensuring that its title suite will go live with several operators over the coming weeks, games licensed for launch include live blackjack, roulette and baccarat versions, with more titles and variants expected to be accepted shortly.
Ezugi notes that the jurisdiction had been chosen because of “the tremendous potential in the market as live casino continues to gather popularity with players around the world.” Certification came after successfully meeting test standards.
Lithuanian certification comes shortly after Ezugi has received approvals from authorities on the Isle of Man, as well as Estonia and Bulgaria.
Ezugi’s business development director Pang Goh explained: “We are delighted to have secured certification and will be completed several successful launches in the coming weeks with our key partners in Lithuania
“The team has done an incredible job when it comes to ensuring our games meet the high standards set by the regulator making us confident of our ability to meet them.
“Obtaining approvals in regulated markets around the world is the driving force behind our growth strategy and the latest certification marks our arrival as the leading live dealer provider.
“We see huge potential in Lithuania and believe that live dealer will become a significant vertical in its own right as the market continues to grow and mature.”
For an initial consideration of $12 m, Evolution negotiated last year’s acquisition of Ezugi, with the all cash contract also including a potential additional consideration of up to $6 m.
