Evolution Gaming has announced a deal that will see it power live casino services for BetMGM brands throughout the U.S.
Improving its countrywide presence alongside the joint venture of MGM Resorts International and GVC Holdings, it comes close on the heels of global sportsbook operator PointsBet partnering with the live casino specialists.
Evolution Gaming Malta chief executive Johan Nordstrom stated: “We are honoured to have been chosen by BetMGM to be partners in the fast-developing US live gaming market. This is a natural extension of our existing relationship with GVC Holdings’ brands.
“Following the New Jersey launch Evolution will work in tandem with BetMGM brands to help ensure that they are among the first in market in Pennsylvania and Michigan. All to coincide with the launch of Evolution’s new studios that will open in these two states.”
Initially, the deal will see a range of live table games from Evolution, as well as show-style games being made available to BetMGM customers, and sister brands Borgata Online and Party Casino, from the live casino studio in New Jersey for the company.
In addition, the agreement will expand the current line-up of live games provided by Ezugi for BetMGM in New Jersey, which became part of Evolution Gaming in January 2019.
Matthew Sunderland, BetMGM’s vice president of gaming said: “BetMGM was formed with a very clear objective: to lead sports betting and online gaming in the United States. As the undisputed leader and innovator in live casino services for digital gaming, Evolution, is the perfect fit for us.
“Evolution offers everything we need to enable our brands to roll out an extremely rich, world-class online live gaming experience across the US and their new state launches roadmap is very much in accord with our own alongside building on our current leadership position in gaming in New Jersey.”
