Evolution also announced two new alliances, with the Canadian Bank Note (CBN) Company and the Alberta Gaming, Liquor, and Cannabis (AGLC) board.
The AGLC would start with an initial six Evolution live dealer games, including Roulette, Infinite Blackjack, Baccarat, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em, with preparations in place for a further rollout in the months ahead.
On the AGLC’s PlayAlberta.ca website, which is regulated and open to Albertans over the age of 18 who are geographically residing within the province’s boundaries, the Evolution live games are available to play on desktop, tablet, and smartphone.
Roll-out of services in Canada
Evolution’s commercial director, Jeff Millar, said: “The launch of AGLC is another proud moment for Evolution in the roll-out of our services in Canada.
“We are committed to delivering enhanced online gaming choice and entertainment for Albertans in the most exciting way possible with our world-leading games portfolio.”
CBN has now chosen the organisation to provide online live casino facilities as part of a new expansion scheme for national lotteries owned or sponsored by CBN around the world.
CBN also announced that it will take the lotteries it runs or sponsors online, and that Evolution’s live suite will be included in the latest digital service in each jurisdiction, subject to local legislation.
Each CBN lottery country will have access to Evolution’s entire portfolio of live games, including titles including Crazy Time, Mega Ball, and Lightning Roulette from its game shows category, as well as first-person RNG-based games.
Market leader in live casino
CBN’s president of lottery systems and CFO, Craig Bascombe, said of the deal: “We are really pleased to be working with the market leader in live casino. Given Evolution’s track record in Europe and North America, and also their solutions for the Canadian lotteries, they were the obvious partner for this project.
“We feel sure that Evolution’s rich and varied mixed of online casino and entertainment-style games will be very popular indeed with our many millions of lottery players.”
