In just two weeks, the company said, a new, bespoke Esports Hosted Solution from EveryMatrix can be incorporated into existing sportsbooks and mobile apps.
The solution, provided by OddsMatrix, would increase sportsbook video streaming capabilities while also doubling the number of betting sporting events.
This major focus on OddsMatrix esports services, first introduced in early 2019 by EveryMatrix, has been planned to help its customers cope with the massive reduction in real sports.
OddsMatrix now covers more than 8,000 sporting events in famous titles such as FIFA, NBA2k, CS: GO, LOL and Dota each month. 5,000 of these events come with live betting opportunities, while video sharing for more than 90 percent of live events is possible.
The Esports Hosted Solution allows bookmakers to steer sports punters into sports by adding an extra tab or menu item to complement their sports offering.
The Group CEO Ebbe Groes said: “Along with virtual sports esports are very much in focus during this sensitive situation. For esports, we’ve seen an enormous increase in turnover in the past weeks, and we’re expecting to see the numbers go up even more.
“This is a clear indicator that esports are ready to step up into the mainstream and can also appeal to regular bettors, not only to computer games enthusiasts.
“In particular betting on sports-based computer games such as FIFA and NBA2K are extremely popular as an easy cross-over for traditional sports players. This can generate much-needed revenues in these wobbly times.”
