Bulgarian online casino games provider EGT Interactive has continued to deliver on its strategy of expanding its presence across European markets with a newly forged agreement with French gaming company Betclic.
Under the terms of the deal, the flagship Betclic brand of the company as well as the service of Expekt went live with the digital slot library of EGT Interactive. As a consequence of the Bulgarian provider’s latest roll-out of content, Betclic and Expekt players now have access to EGT Interactive hit titles like 40 Super Hot, Amazons’ Battle, The Story of Alexander and Shining Crown.
Besides the fact that the recent deal has expanded the customer network of EGT Interactive, the company will also profit from it by entering for the first time the newly reorganised Swedish online gambling market. EGT Interactive games are now live in that controlled jurisdiction with the Expekt brand of Betclic.
Earlier this year, Sweden liberalised its online gaming space to open it up to international operators. Betclic was one of the companies approved to serve Swedish gambling customers in a regulated environment by the regional regulator, Spelinspektionen.
EGT Interactive commercial partnership will also see the content provider cement their presence across the Portuguese gaming market with the big French operator. After reorganzing the country’s iGaming space, Betclic was the first operator to go live in Portugal. In May 2016, it launched sports betting operations and was licensed later that year to provide local players with online casino services.
Commenting on their agreement with Betclic, Todor Zahariev, Chief Executive of EGT Interactive, said in a press release published on the official website of his company on Friday that they are “delighted to sign this agreement with such a trusted and serious partner as Betclic Group.”
Mr. Zahariev added that “for the first time our content is available for the Swedish players under Expekt brand” and that they are looking forward to entering this new jurisdiction under their partnership with Betclic, whilst they “continue our solid growth in the well-known Portuguese and Maltese regulated markets with Betclic Group following our goal for extensive distribution.”
Betlic Casino Games Specialist François Dogon commented that they are thrilled to expand their offering with “such a reputable provider with a long tradition in the land based and superior online game offering” and that they are confident EGT Interactive’s titles will “add further value to our players experience.”
News about the collaboration between EGT Interactive and Betlic emerged a few days after another big deal was announced by the content provider. The Bulgarian distributor revealed earlier this week that it had partnered with Lottoland, an online gambling company based in Gibraltar best known for providing bets on the outcomes of over 30 different lottery draws.
Under the terms of that deal, with some of EGT Interactive’s most popular online gaming games, Lottoland will diversify its online casino offering.
