Edison Interactive And BettorView Establish Alliances For Sports Betting

A collaboration agreement with the sports betting technology platform BettorView has been concluded with Edison Interactive (EI), a software provider that develops Internet of Things ( IoT) and Digital-out-of-Home (DOOH) solutions.

BettorView Live is an interactive solution for video conferencing that increases fan interaction through watch parties adjacent to stats, betting odds, and other infotainment that is sports-centric.

The platform was designed to supplement live sports’ in-home viewing with a focus on betting statistics, while also enabling fans to interact in a forum environment with other fans. The outcome is a watch party experience that offers solutions for fan engagement, with a focus on the increasing demand for content and knowledge for betting.

For its igaming and food distribution partners, BettorView develops and optimises new revenue sources as they explore differentiated ways to engage consumers. The business is currently working with partners including Hooters, Bowlero, DraftKings, and William Hill, among others, in 1,000 venues nationwide.

The web is readily available to customers, helping them to optimise the in-home experience. Sports fans can now cheer along with fellow fans by incorporating livestreams directly into the watch group, or by acting as the perfect second screen experience, while gaining access to both must-have stats and access to food delivery.

It also encourages fan connexion, whether a watch party with millions of fans hosted by a celebrity fan or a VIP-only virtual offseason experience in a private watch party space with friends and family.

Education and gamification are often provided in a number of ways through stats, analytics, and odds, to inform fans on fantasy sports and betting, enabling them to gamify their viewing of live sports. The platform also enables sports leagues and clubs, and sportsbook operators, to increase awareness of sports betting and educate their fan base.
