A multi-year deal has been formalised by DraftKings Inc, making it a primary sponsor of the Center for Gaming Innovation at the University of Nevada , Las Vegas (UNLV), located within the International Gaming Institute (IGI).
The agreement includes the opening at UNLV of the new DraftKings Gaming Innovation Studio and offers access to local talent for the DFS and sports betting operator, while furthering the company’s ties to the Las Vegas region.

Through this agreement, DraftKings not only has access to the latest ideas coming out of the Gaming Innovation Studio, but it also allows us to deepen our relationship with the Las Vegas community.”
DraftKings formally announced the launch of a 300-person office in Las Vegas in January 2020, enabling access to some of the top talent in the gaming industry. The UNLV agreement will include a pipeline for local opportunities and developments produced at UNLV, which has a long history of success in the commercialization of gaming goods, ranging from new games and applications to responsible gaming technologies.
UNLV visitors can expect to see new signs from DraftKings Gaming Engineering Studio in the Stan Fulton Building, as well as its corporate branding.
