This week, DraftKings Inc has been named as the exclusive sportsbook and daily fantasy sports provider for selected assets of Turner Sports and Bleacher Report. NBA programming is removed from the multi-year contract.
Under the deal, through Turner Sports telecasts and Bleacher Report digital platforms, including the B / R app, DraftKings will include sports betting data and daily fantasy content.
Expected integrations will include custom content categories, betting odds and daily fantasy statistics from DraftKings, original content, tailored automated updates and editorial across B / R platforms, including the B / R Betting vertical, according to Sprnklr Data, the most engaged digital sports media brand in the sports betting industry.
Chief Business Officer, Ezra Kucharz, DraftKings, said of the deal: “Regulated betting is quickly becoming a fixture of modern sports entertainment, and this collaboration with Turner Sports further scales the reach of our products and content to engage fans.
“Turner Sports platforms provide exceptional content as they continually captivate sports audiences. Their medium aligns with the DraftKings’ brand and we look forward to delivering a seamless experience for readers and viewers while also broadening our visibility.”
Will Funk, Turner Sports’ Executive Vice President, Sports Partnerships and Branded Content, noted: “While this emerging industry continues to evolve, sports betting helps to drive engagement, increased time spent viewing and audience scale.
“This alliance enhances Turner Sports’ content with betting information that our hyper-engaged, highly interactive viewers demand, while driving customer engagement and acquisition for DraftKings.”
To concentrate on content in and around sports betting, Bleacher Report launched its B / R Betting vertical in 2019. It has consistently ranked as one of the most dedicated sports media brands devoted to the subject since its launch.
