Sportsbook company DraftKings has been named the first Official Betting Company of the PGA TOUR following this week’s extension of the multi-year content and marketing partnership between the two organisations.
In July 2019, as part of the multi-year, exclusive deal, DraftKings became the PGA TOUR’s first Official Daily Fantasy Game of the Tour.

The growth in consumption and fan engagement we have seen over the last year in our DraftKings Daily Fantasy games has been tremendous.
“The expansion of the relationship to now include sports betting is a natural evolution and one which fully supports and promotes the PGA TOUR’s objectives of reaching and engaging new segments of fans while introducing them to our players, tournaments and media platforms.”
In being the first to join the Official Betting Operator programme of TOUR, DraftKings will have the right to use PGA TOUR logos and advertise on TOUR outlets and TOUR partner channels in the United States. It will also acquire content and video rights allowing DraftKings’ Sportsbook solution to create pre-game and post-game betting programming, as well as providing highlights to betting users.

Upon the return of the TOUR in June, there have been some of the most successful bet PGA TOUR events in DraftKings company history. Golf is currently the fourth most popular sport by DraftKings in terms of sports betting.
After the abolition of the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act in 2018 by the Supreme Court, the TOUR, in conjunction with Genius Sports, introduced an integrity policy to protect its competitions from betting-related corruption. The TOUR announced a global agreement with IMG ARENA later that year to licence their legitimate, live scoring data to betting operators around the world.
Following an overhaul to its sponsorship policies in the sports sector in July 2019, the TOUR collaborated with DraftKings to relaunch “PGA TOUR DraftKings Fantasy Golf” with proprietary intellectual property to distinguish DraftKings in the domain to everyday fantasies. Last March, The Action Network and PGA TOUR announced the launch of GolfBet, a first-of-its-kind, betting entertainment network focused on golf.
