The previous CFO Dominik Seel will take over the management chairmanship of HESS Cash Systems as new CEO on 1 November 2020. Ulrich Bauer, the longtime CEO, will retire on October 31 , 2020.
For 14 years Ulrich Bauer has successfully steered the HESS Group’s fortunes. As CEO, he placed the services of the company on the market and set the strategic course for HESS’ future direction.
Lars Felderhoff, member of the management board at Gauselmann AG, the parent company of HESS said: “I would like to thank Mr. Bauer warmly for the work he has done. On behalf of the entire management board, I wish him all the best in his new life.”
Dominik Seel, joined the company headquartered in Magstadt as CFO in 2019. The 47-year-old business graduate had previously been CFO of a medium-sized mechanical engineering firm.
Lars Felderhoff explained: “Dominik Seel has quickly familiarised himself with the HESS Group and is therefore optimally prepared for the challenges ahead. In his new position, he will, among other things, drive the company’s further development into a digital solution provider. We wish him every success in his role as CEO.”
In the remaining time, Ulrich Bauer will hand over the activities for which he is responsible to Dominik Seel, so that the smooth continuation of business can be ensured.
Seel added: “I would like to thank Mr. Bauer for the trustful cooperation in the management, his collegial support and the good induction, and I look forward to successfully developing the company together with all employees at home and abroad.”
