Network provider Digitain has announced that the Table Football Federation of Armenia has secured exclusive betting rights enabling it to provide real-time odds in a series of table football tournaments, making the deal the first of its kind for the sport.
The tournament, which is being tested by Digitain, will feature a total of 400 matches during a week-long process, with games to be played every 30 minutes in parallel with each other.
The service will only be available to domestic customers, however if the trials are successful, Digitain has revealed its ambitions to scale its services further.
Digitain COO Harutyun Vardanyan stated: “At Digitain, we’re all about delivering the next generation of sportsbook by ensuring our partners are always ahead of the game when it comes to differentiating themselves from the competition.
“We are delighted to become the world’s first supplier to offer live odds and streaming for table football to an international audience. The sky’s the limit for this sport’s untapped potential, so we are proud to lead the way in this exciting new vertical. Players far and wide consider themselves to be masters of the sport, and we are confident that our offering will do wonders for attracting even more players given its global popularity.”
The move will see Digitain partner with a regional operator, supplying the unidentified bookmaker with the world’s first table football tournament with live betting offerings.
In addition, Digitain will live stream the event, which is located in a custom-built state-of – the-art studio alongside other international sporting facilities, with plans to partner with future international tournaments and expand its bid worldwide.
The service will also be available to players from Digitain’s foreign operator network if the table football betting goes global, providing both pre-match and live betting for the sport in 2020.
