The Detroit Tigers has become the first Major League Baseball franchise since joining up with PointsBet to sign a deal with a gaming company.
Under the terms of the deal, the Tigers’ “official Gaming Partner” is the global sportsbook, with the announcement reachable after the latest deal between the firm and the MLB.
PointsBet was classified as ‘Authorised Gaming Operator’ by the U.S. Sports League and given the company the rights to use official data along with marks and logos in PointsBet items.

The multi-year partnership is designed by providing access to unique experiences, content, promotions and more, in and around Comerica Park, to enhance fan engagement and game-day excitement.
At Comerica Park, PointsBet will have television broadcast-visible branding and will be featured on the Detroit Tigers Radio Network as well as integrated into the District Detroit app and the MLB Ballpark app.
In addition, the Australian firm will also have a supported presence on the digital channels of the Tigers and will be featured frequently on The Word on Woodward, a twice-weekly live streaming show that airs on the club’s website.
