The Design Works Gaming Group is set to debut in the real money gaming space online, after the UK Gambling Commission issued the appropriate licence approval.
Highlighting its European wishes earlier this year, the company is allowed to supply UK-facing igaming organisations with its portfolio of slot titles and gamification apps through the green-light.
The developer based in the UK and Arizona has also highlighted the assumption that several commercial deals will be reached in the coming months with a range of operators.
As a land-based distributor, it builds on a long history, with DWG supplying titles to a number of organisations including Novomatic, Aristocrat, Konami, and IGT.
Five popular social casinos are also run by the company, including Diamond Sky Casino, Spin Vegas Slots, and Jade Diamond Casino. It is also noted that the entire development of DWG is carried out in-house, including the production of more than 100 game titles per year.
Andy Harris, CEO of DWG UK, said of the new development: “We are delighted to have been granted our GB licence, which marks a very important milestone in our development as an international provider of casino content.
“Being licensed by the Gambling Commission is the start of an exciting period for DWG, and we are confident that with our portfolio of varied and validated content we will hit the ground running as we look to gain serious traction on this side of the Atlantic.”
