Denver Broncos Deepen Gaming Industry Ties With BetMGM

NFL franchise Denver Broncos, after announcing BetMGM as a sports betting partner in a multi-year deal, has deepened its ties with the gaming and betting industry.

Last week, Roar Digital ‘s sports betting and gaming company, a joint venture between MGM Resorts International and GVC Holdings, expressed an intention to become the leading sportsbook and ignore business for the controlled US market, when a second round of funding took $450 m to invest.

BetMGM and MGM Resorts will be offering a variety of fan opportunities under the official partner name, including a new BetMGM Lounge at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium, VIP travel packages, and rewards through the company’s loyalty scheme, M life Rewards.

In addition, a free-to-play mobile game, digital marketing tools, and in-stadium advertising and signage are also part of the strategic alliance.

Once it becomes available to Broncos fans directly on the official smartphone app of the franchise, the game will give qualifying players the ability to test their sport prediction abilities and win prizes for MGM Resorts, including trips to properties nationwide.

Mac Freeman, chief commercial officer for Denver Broncos, stated: “When we began the process of identifying potential partners in this category, our goal was to provide Broncos fans with unique ways to engage with sports betting.

“Together with BetMGM, we can now offer our fans and M life Rewards members in Colorado new opportunities such as in-stadium gaming lounge, VIP travel packages to MGM Resorts around the country and a free-to-play game through our mobile app.”

Roar Digital’s entrance into The Centennial State was achieved earlier this year through a collaboration with the Midnight Rose Hotel and Casino, allowing the company to provide statewide electronic sports wagering under the BetMGM brand.
