Dan D’Arrigo has been appointed to the board of directors of Gambling.com Group Limited.
From 2007 to 2019, D’Arrigo was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of MGM Resorts International, where he was in charge of the company’s global financial operations. He assisted in the formation of BetMGM and was involved in a number of collaboration and sponsorship agreements.
He will serve as Chairperson of the Nominating & Governance Committee and a member of the Audit Committee in his employment with Gambling.com, which began on July 27 after the company’s initial public offering closed.
The CEO and Co-Founder of Gambling.com Group, Charles Gillespie, stated: “Dan has extensive experience as the CFO of a publicly-traded S&P 500 casino and hospitality company which will be an enormous asset to the management team at Gambling.com Group, and he is a timely addition as we begin our journey as a publicly-traded company in the United States.”
During his stint at MGM Resorts, D’Arrigo oversaw the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s initial public offering of MGM China Holdings Ltd in 2011 and the New York Stock Exchange’s initial public offering of MGM Growth Properties Llc in 2016.
From 1995 through 2007, he worked with MGM in numerous finance and management responsibilities, including overseeing the $6.4 billion acquisition of Mirage Resorts in 2000 and the $7.3 billion acquisition of Mandalay Resort Group in 2005.
From 2011 to 2019, he served on the board of directors of MGM China Holdings and its audit committee from 2014 to 2019. He also has a West Virginia University Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Accounting.
