DACH bookmaker Interwetten was appointed the Greek Super League’s main sponsor and right-naming partner as part of a three-year deal.
The agreement, which continues until the end of the season of 2022/23, will see the competition rebranded as the ‘Super Competition Interwetten,’ with the betting business to be merged into the official league logo.
Board spokesperson at Interwetten, Dominik Beier said: “Greece is and remains a very important market for us. Therefore, we want to continue to invest in sports here and expand our position.
“The naming right of the Greek Super League is the most valuable sports partnership that exists in Greece. It is our aim to offer our customers the best product on the market.”
In addition, the logo of Interwetten will also be shown in all Greek Super League stadiums on the match ball as well as on the official mobile app of the league and in all video wall advertisements.
Last month, Interwetten extended its sponsorship deal with the German Bundesliga clubs TSG Hoffenheim and Vfl Wolfsburg to last until June 2023 with the partnerships due.
Interwetten continues to assist TSG Hoffenheim in its marketing and advertising campaign as part of the extension, as well as having two large static TV commercial presences, a mini banner and LED advertisement.
Interwetten’s branding, as decided in its agreement with Vfl Wolfsburg, is seen through promotional boards for domestic television broadcasts in the form of LED PowerPack boards, Cam Carpets next to the goals and various logo placements on press walls and digital branding
