Three global partners have announced their participation in next week’s online Counter-Strike competition, which will see teams competing for a $30,000 prize pool.
Coinbase, CS.MONEY, and Red Magic have been announced as partners for BLAST Rising, a Counter-Strike tournament that takes place next week (3-23 May) and features teams from outside the world’s top 20 rankings competing for a $30,000 prize pool.
Coinbase, a cryptocurrency exchange website, CS.MONEY, and Nubia Technology’s cell phone Red Magic will all have their logos prominently displayed during the three-week Counter-Strike tournament.
The online tournament will feature 24 teams from 19 countries across Europe, which translates to three weeks and 150+ hours of esports action for viewers to enjoy. Within the in-game development and coverage, each partner will receive a range of bespoke giveaways as well as integrated promotion.
The collaboration is an expansion of Coinbase and CS.MONEY’s current sponsorship of BLAST Premier, while Red Magic will be returning for their second event after sponsoring the BLAST Premier Fall Series last year.
Returning after successful first year
BLAST’s Head of Brand Partnerships, Oliver Clarke, said: “We are grateful to our partners in helping us provide opportunities for up-and-coming players and teams across Europe. The expansion of the tournament from 16 to 24 teams and the addition of three leading brands as partners highlights the growth BLAST Rising has enjoyed in the 12 months since it launched.
“With BLAST Rising returning for a second year after the success of the first event, we’re delighted that Coinbase, CS.MONEY and Red Magic are joining us and building on their association with BLAST Premier.”
BLAST Rising is a tournament produced by leading esports company Fantasyexpo that is part of BLAST’s dedication to building a sustainable esports ecosystem that offers opportunities for a diverse range of organisations – and it parallels BLAST Premier’s efforts to deliver a global qualification circuit and route into their main events in 2021.
