The FOX Bet brand for the 2021 season has been joined by former NASCAR driver, NASCAR Xfinity Series Champion and new FOX NASCAR race analyst Clint Bowyer.
Daytona Speedweeks, joining iconic race announcer Mike Joy and NASCAR Hall of Famer Jeff Gordon, Bowyer makes his FOX NASCAR Cup Series booth debut this week. He can contribute to both the real-money game FOX Bet, as well as the app FOX Bet Super 6, a nationally accessible free-to-play network.
Sports wagering content and expert insights
Bowyer will provide the FOX Bet brand and its digital channels with sports wagering content and expert insights each week during the 2021 NASCAR season.
He declared: “Without a doubt, NASCAR fans are as in tune with race stats, storylines and the ebbs and flows of racing each week as any fanbase in America. The team over at FOX Bet share in my commitment to look for ways to entertain, have some fun and ultimately enhance the experience of watching racing each week.”
The “Win Clint’s Money” campaign for the 2021 NASCAR season is being launched by FOX Bet Super 6, a free-to-play app where users make six predictions about what they believe will happen in live sports, races or events.
Taking the proverbial wheel
Bowyer takes the proverbial wheel from FOX NFL SUNDAY’s Terry Bradshaw and the “Win Terry’s Money” Super 6 campaign with the football season over, where users get a chance to play in the app for a chance during the NFL season to win real cash every week. Every NASCAR race weekend there will be a contest to “Win Clint’s Money” through the Super 6 app.
FOX Bet CMO Andrew Schneider said: “Clint already enhances the fan experience on-air as part of our FOX Sports’ NASCAR team, and we’re thrilled to share his insight and entertaining popularity online with Super 6 users.”
He added: “As Super 6 continues to attract more and more NASCAR enthusiasts, he’s a natural fit for us, the fans, and Daytona is just the perfect debut.”
‘Clint’s Stage 2 Contest’
The Super 6 app launches “Clint’s Stage 2 Contest” starting with the Daytona 500, airing on FOX on Sunday, February 14. Users answer six questions for the first time ever in the race, all of which are based on activity during this season’s Stage 2 Cup races with guaranteed real cash and prizes for grabs. FOX Bet Super 6 will reveal its top performers during Stage 3 once grading is completed (pending eligibility verification).
Since its launch in September 2019, with more than 90 million contest entries, over 22,000 national winners and a user base of 4.4 million, the FOX Bet Super 6 app has given away nearly $4 million in prizes.
FOX Bet Super 6 provides the most downloads in the free-to-play group of Sports Prediction Apps since the return of sports at the end of July 2020. (includes Fantasy). For its Super Bowl LV Super 6 contest, the app scored the most entries for a single contest ever with more than 1.4 million.
