Free-to-play and real money sports betting company Chalkline has partnered with betting entertainment and technology company PlayUp USA, offering free-to-play sports betting games with the New Jersey Devils of the NHL to activate PlayUp’s first US team sponsorship.
Leading up to the March release of its real-money sportsbook and app, the games will be provided as a means of engaging New Jersey Devils fans. For every Devils game, the free-to-play competitions feature live odds, player props and unique tie-breakers.
PlayUp USA, based in Las Vegas, is the presenting partner of the newly redesigned PlayUp Studio of the Devils and the live pre-game show which is broadcast before all home games. On Facebook and YouTube, all shows stream live, while the company’s nationwide free play offering is available at www.playupusa.com.
As the Devils games will be broadcast nationwide and the whole US will be able to see the signage of PlayUp in the Prudential arena, the strategy of the company is to begin building a national database.
PlayUp USA CEO Dr Laila Mintas explained: “It is important for us to align ourselves with top teams and partners as we grow fast in the US. The New Jersey Devils typify that and having a strong partner on our free play site like Chalkline only solidifies what we are trying to achieve in New Jersey.”
In an attempt to leverage the publicity from the Devils contract, Mintas said: ” PlayUp was able to get its free play site up quickly with the strategic relationship with Chalkine in place.
“The Chalkline team got us up and running quickly and is making an immediate impact on our sponsorship activation. We were particularly impressed by the knowledge and experience of the team in addition to their turnkey games platform and BettorBI reporting and analytics tools.”
Chalkline CEO Dan Kustelski, said: “PlayUp USA is getting in the game in New Jersey in a big way and engaging one of the best fanbases in the NHL is a great way to start. We’re looking forward to delivering free-to-play games with picks and player props with live odds every single time the Devils take the ice in the 2021 season.”
