Catalin Zaha, a former Paddy Power Betfair manager, has been named chief product officer at Maxima Compliance, making him the first person to hold the role.
Zaha will be in charge of the full-service compliance provider’s product line, which includes Complitech, the gaming industry’s technical compliance database.
Early this year, Maxima Compliance expanded its solution offering with the launch of Maxima DataVault, a platform capable of accepting XML and JSON data from operators and game suppliers and preserving it in the right format required by local authorities across numerous countries.
First ever chief product officer to oversee products.
Antonio Zanghi, Maxima Compliance CEO said: “Maxima Compliance continues to build a diverse range of products in support of the compliance needs of our customers, so it was time we appointed our first ever chief product officer to oversee these products.
“Catalin joins with exceptional pedigree and experience at one of the world’s largest gaming companies. He’s going to be a fantastic addition to our team.”
Zaha enters after six years at Flutter Entertainment, where he worked as a product owner for data, regulatory, and financial platform services.
Zaha added: “Maxima Compliance has been on my radar for a couple of years because of the innovative and technology-led approach they take to compliance.
“I’m thrilled to be joining at such an exciting time for Maxima, and look forward to further building out what is already a world-class product offering.”
