After gaining permission from the Spanish gambling regulator, Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ), to open its flagship igaming entity, online gaming group Casumo has launched the next stage of its European expansion plan.
On Thursday, April 1, the operator’s mobile-first casino offering, which it claims has been completely tailored for the Spanish market, will make its debut on Casumo.es. The company would include competitive gaming features, such as in-app incentives and weekly competitions called Slot Races.
Casumo is also bringing its sportsbook to the Spanish market, which it claims is based on the group’s core values of “simplicity in design and excellence in execution.”
Casumo Sports offers a wide variety of sports and tournaments, as well as apps like Bet Builder, which allows players to make their own personalised bets on their favourite games.
Locally controlled markets, such as Spain, remain a key part of the company’s growth plan, according to the company. In addition to having Malta Gaming Authority registration, the operator currently has licences and works in the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Denmark.
