Casumo Explains Benefits Of Reading FC Partnership

The new extension of its services to the UK has been announced by Malta-based Casumo, as the company also explains how it has leveraged its relationship with Reading FC to support good causes.

At the beginning of the current season, the online casino operator partnered with the Championship club and launched a number of promotions to encourage responsible gaming, as well as endorsing special events such as Remembrance Day and the Rainbow Laces Initiative.

Casumocares.com also gained influential status last month, with 50 percent of all Casumo posters around the stadium and system advertising dedicated to spreading awareness of responsible gambling throughout the season.

During Birmingham’s 3-2 home defeat, adorning the Reading shirts as well as LEDs, programme adverts and posters across the stadium, an auction of strips subsequently raised over £ 3,000 for GamCare’s BigDeal programme.

The same initiative has benefited from £ 6,317 in matching the sum earned at an auction held by the club in support of the Royal British Legion.

Mike Kenward, development director at GamCare, commented: “This donation towards our important work with young people is very much appreciated. Our BigDeal programme gives young people the facts about gambling so that they can go on to make safe and informed choices about gambling should they choose to participate in the future.”

In turn, in support of last year’s Rainbow Laces movement, Casumo also updated their front-of-shirt logo and donated their shirts to local LGBT charity, Support U.

Casumo also announced that it is to take on the UK sportsbook market, giving players the ability to personalise their betting experience in advance by selecting their favourite sports and leagues.
