DraftKings, a digital sports entertainment and gaming service, has announced that it will rebrand Casino Queen in Illinois as ‘DraftKings at CasinoQueen.’
The rebranding, which is subject to approval, requires the physical location of the Casino Queen in East St. Louis Following the launch to Illinois of the sportsbook app and retail presence.
Ezra Kucharz, DraftKings chief business officer said: “We are excited to be working with Casino Queen to bring our premier sports betting experience to the state and its sports fans. Through this collaboration, we have the opportunity to change how fans engage with the sports they love, while becoming a part of the fabric of Illinois’ rich sports culture.”
Headquartered in Boston and launched in 2012, DraftKing’s is the only vertically integrated sports betting operator based in the U.S. operating in Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Mississippi, New Hampshire , New Jersey, New York , Pennsylvania and West Virginia with its sportsbook offering mobile and retail betting for major U.S. and international sports.

Research Draftkings announced earlier this week that 78 percent of fans are willing to compromise conventional facets of sport if it means returning to play.
Publishing its nationwide market survey of more than 1,000 ‘self-identified’ American sport enthusiasts, DraftKings explored the excitement of the return of live sport, looking at the experiences and modifications of contemporary fandom as a direct result of COVID-19.
