The purchase of The United States Playing Card Company (USPC) was completed by Cartamundi last week.

The U.S. Playing Card Company has over 350 employees and manufacturing facilities in the U.S. city of Erlanger (Kentucky) and Vitoria (Àlava) in Spain. Net sales of about US$ 112 million were realised by USPC in 2018.
Michael Slaughter, CEO of the USPC, will join the Executive Committee of Cartamundi. He added: “Our commitment to delighting consumers, cardists, magicians and casino players with world-class quality remains our mission.”
Cartamundi, USPC, and Fournier’s combined heritage is unrivalled in the card industry. 2020 Is Cartamundi’s 50th birthday, while Fournier is celebrating its 150th birthday. The Bicycle brand will be the most widely recognised and used consumer card brand in 2020, marking 135 years.
