Caesars Entertainment and the Fiesta Bowl Organization have teamed up to form a first-of-its-kind sports betting and fantasy gaming partnership for a college football Bowl event.
The partnership will focus on increasing fan engagement, year-round events, and growing sports gaming and education throughout Arizona.
Jose Moreno, the Chief Marketing Officer for the Fiesta Bowl, said: “This is a new frontier in the college football space, and the Fiesta Bowl is again out in front with this fan-focused partnership.
“There was significant interest in the marketplace to partner with the Fiesta Bowl; where Caesars stood out was with its similar community mindset and a creativity toward setting a new standard. We are teaming with an industry leader who is dedicated to working with us to elevate our offerings for college football and all sports fans across Arizona.”
With Arizona’s new sports betting legislation, this multi-year partnership will expand Caesars’ footprint across the state by delivering its platform to college football fans, while also increasing responsible gaming education and bringing fans closer to the excitement that college football provides.
For the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl and the Guaranteed Rate Bowl, Caesars will open new fan lounges in the stadiums, become the title sponsor of the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl pregame festivities, and serve as the presenting sponsor of the annual Arizona Bank & Trust Fiesta Bowl Kickoff Luncheon.
Caesars Digital’s Chief Development Officer, Dan Shapiro, commented: “We’re thrilled to work with the Fiesta Bowl Organization on this landmark partnership to bring college football fans closer to the game and build awareness around the importance of responsible gaming practices.
“These fans are unrivalled in their passion, and we look forward to offering Caesars Sportsbook to them this fall. Our offering provides a leading user experience where every wager gives players more through our award-winning Caesars Rewards.”
On September 9, sports betting will be available in Arizona, subject to regulatory approvals. Fans can place bets at Chase Field or use the Caesars Sportsbook app to place bets from anywhere in the state.
Caesars Entertainment was awarded the naming rights to the New Orleans Saints’ Superdome last month.
