Bryony Frost the British National Hunt jockey has been appointed the first ever brand ambassador for Horseracing.co.uk.
The 25-year-old English jockey by sharing insights and race knowledge, will contribute to the Horseracing.co.uk website’s relaunch, while working closely on the creation of digital content with the editorial team.
Making history at Cheltenham
Before securing the British Conditional Jockeys title for the 2018/19 season, Frost, who was nominated for BT Sport’s 2019 Action Woman of the Year award, became the first woman to ride a Grade One winner over the jumps at the Cheltenham Festival. She won the 2018/2019 season’s British Conditional Jockeys title the following month.
After announcing her arrival on the racing scene with a win in the Foxhunter Chase at Cheltenham, she became a professional in 2017.
Frost said: “I am delighted to be the new ambassador for Horseracing.co.uk and get stuck in with creating content and sharing my experience as a jump jockey with the lovers of the sport.
“The Horseracing.co.uk team have welcomed me with open arms and I am excited to jump straight in and provide value to their editorial offering.”
The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) launched an inquiry at the beginning of the year into the weighing-room care of the female jockey, on the back of reports that after guiding Frodon to victory on Boxing Day, Frost had received negative reviews from individuals inside the sport.
