Through naming Bryan Bennett as the first US Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the bookmaker, Betfred has strengthened its US business aspirations.
Bennett, a seasoned executive in strategies for U.S. entertainment, sports and online business, announced via LinkedIn that he had entered the UK gambling company, heading his initial US market push.
Bennett is the former VP of RocketPlay Marketing, a social games maker, acquired in 2015 by the New York-listed American Gaming Systems (AGS interactive), where the executive will serve as VP of the AGS Interactive Division (2016-2019).
“I’ll be leading Betfred’s expansion into the US retail and online sports betting market, and I cannot wait to get started working with Mark Stebbings, Stephen Crystal, Basil Hofer, Lou Damico, Andrew McLauchlan, and the entire Betfred team to tackle this huge opportunity.” Bennett detailed via LinkedIn.
Betfred announced its first US partnership this July, acting as the leading provider of wagering services for Larchwood Iowa property in Elite Casino Resorts ‘ Grand Falls. ‘
