Boyd Gaming Release BoydPay In Collaboration With Aristocrat

Boyd Gaming, headquartered in Las Vegas, has announced the release of its digital wallet product BoydPay, which was delivered in collaboration with Aristocrat Technologies.

Via BoydPay, customers of the gaming and hospitality company will have the opportunity to create a cashless digital wallet that can be connected to Sightline Payments-driven third-party funding sources.

BoydPay is live at the Blue Chip Casino Resort Spa in Cincinnati, Ohio, Michigan City, Indiana, Belterra Park, and in a field trial in north Las Vegas, Nevada at the Aliante Casino, Hotel and Spa.

Digital wallet

The digital wallet is linked to a player’s B Connected card, Boyd’s player loyalty scheme, during its initial phase and used, often in collaboration with Aristocrat, to play or cash out on slot names.

Pending regulatory approvals, by this summer, the company plans to launch this product at all of its casino properties nationwide.

“Through our innovative partnership with Aristocrat, we will create a unique and seamless payment experience for Boyd Gaming customers, allowing them to use their smartphones to play casino games, cash out, and pay for restaurant meals, show tickets or hotel rooms.  

“By going cashless, our customers will be able to avoid the wait times and inconveniences associated with using cash and focus on enjoying their visit to our properties.”

Contactless experience

Boyd Gaming will use Aristocrat technology during future phases, and pending regulatory approval, to link the BoydPay wallet to its B Connected Mobile app, providing a contactless experience that will enable customers to play and cash out on casino games using their smartphones and pay for amenities within the property.
