Bojoko’s online gaming partner website made its US market debut in New Jersey after receiving a license from the state’s Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE).
Since its UK launch in 2017, the company has been positioned as the Airbnb of online gambling sites, enabling operators and game developers to establish their own dedicated listing page that players then rate and review based on the experience they get.
The launch of New Jersey means that Bojoko and its efficient filter and search software can be used by players in the Garden State to pick online gambling sites that match their own playing preferences. All of the sites mentioned are approved and reputable by DGE, it said.
Responsible gaming and enforcement
Under its CSR obligations, the company said it would follow the same approach to responsible gaming and enforcement that was a key factor in its UK market success, where the platform receives more than 25,000 unique visitors each month and has built up a membership of more than 28,000 players.
This ensures that players using Bojoko are provided with the highest possible levels of security to search for and pick gambling sites and can access the information and resources they need to remain in control of their gaming and online gambling at all times.
Larger US plans
The launch in New Jersey is part of larger plans to join additional US states licensing and controlling online gambling, with Bojoko in states such as Pennsylvania and Michigan already in the licensing process.
Joonas Karhu, Chief Business Officer, said: “We are pleased to have secured our affiliate license in New Jersey, paving the way for our expansion into the US market where we see huge potential for Bojoko and our innovative concept.
“Ultimately, our mission is to help players find gambling sites quickly and easily and based on their own likes and preferences. Our model has proved to be hugely successful in the UK, Canada and Finland, and we believe it will appeal just as much to players in New Jersey and across the US.
“We are also calling on New Jersey licensed operators to create their own dedicated listing page on Bojoko in order to put their brand in front of our readers and members, many of whom are primed and ready to convert into new customers and first-time depositors.
“This really is a milestone moment for Bojoko and we are incredibly excited about leveraging the tremendous opportunities we believe the New Jersey and the wider US market have to offer.”
