Table Trac Inc has reported a positive market response to its proprietary Dynamic Auto Social Distancing (DASD) solution, which is pending patent. In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, DASD helps simplify social distancing at games and promotes improved sanitisation protocols and guidelines.
The firm claims to have been the first to develop and deploy these advanced technology solutions to help facilitate their secure reopening in live gaming casinos.
It said: “In the month of May we supported casino reopenings for 15 customers across the US and Caribbean, as they welcomed their guests back in a smooth and socially responsible manner with the assistance of DASD and the innovations from Table Trac. For many jurisdictions, June marks the relaunching of their properties, and Table Trac will be assisting properties across Nevada, Iowa, and California to reopen responsibly.”
Game availability and selection is a difficult challenge for casinos as they are considering having to place out-of-service games on their floor to make the space socially remote. The DASD programme changes this by allowing guests to start playing at any game while enforcing the rules of social distance by dynamically putting out of service the surrounding games for other patrons.
By keeping all of their games in service and ensuring a player ‘s favourite slot machine is still available, casinos can continue to maintain the diversity of game offerings for their players. Automated alerts assist in identifying games that require sanitisation, eliminating the task of searching for recently played games.
