After debuting a partnership with WinPrincess, lauded as the “principal” retail casino in Tanzania, BtoBet is expanding its footprint across Africa.
Coming a short time after the igaming platform provider has incorporated the video bingo titles of Salsa Technology into its Neuron 3 network, the latest link-up comes as WinPrincess aims to further diversify its operations through the integration of digital platforms into its retail strategy.
Alessandro Fried, Chief Executive Officer of BtoBet, commended the partnership as developing on the firm’s strong footprint within the country, while also targeting even more online growth through its land-based casino network over the medium term.
“The brand and the reputation that WinPrincess have built in the land-based casino sector across a multitude of countries speaks for itself,” he said. “Just like BtoBet, they continuously pursue innovation, placing utmost importance on their player experience.”
The integration of an omnichannel approach to its retail casino in Tanzania, operating 32 casinos in 15 countries across four continents, will be the first step for WinPrincess as it seeks to extend its global operations to digital channels.
Guven Eraslan, WinPrincess Group’s executive coordinator, said the investment in the Tanzanian igaming industry would see the company not only concentrate on the online casino side, but will also branch out to other verticals, mainly sportsbooks.
He added: “Like any other company we need to grow to continue to exist. Therefore, we cannot afford to miss any of the opportunities that lie ahead of us.”
To note that the betting industry in Tanzania has more than doubled in the last three years. “Moreover three of the fastest growing cities in the world are in Tanzania, and thus we firmly believe that Africa is a safe bet if you need a good start in the igaming industry.”
