Betway Signs With VfB Struttgart For Enhanced German Visibility

Betway has enhanced its marketing and branding in Germany by signing an agreement with VfB Stuttgart, a Bundesliga team.

Betway will obtain branding on the LED panels and cam carpets at the VfB Stuttgart stadium, the 60,000-seat Mercedes-Benz Arena, as part of the three-year deal.

As part of the agreement, the Malta-based bookmaker would gain activation rights, proving its “ever-growing commitment to supporting the best sporting events around the world.”

Anthony Werkman, Betway CEO said: “VfB Stuttgart are one of Germany’s most successful football clubs and we’re very proud to become their premium partner on an initial three-year deal.

“This agreement reflects our ambitions as a brand, as the Bundesliga is recognised around the world as one of the biggest football leagues. We’re delighted to have further association with it for Betway, a brand that is synonymous with the highest-profile sports and teams around the globe.

“Stuttgart finished in the top half of the Bundesliga last season and we’re looking forward to working with the club as they strive for further success in Germany’s top flight.” 

Stuttgart is the latest addition to Betway’s international sports sponsorship portfolio, following agreements with fellow Bundesliga clubs Eintracht Frankfurt FC and Schalke 04 earlier this week and last month, respectively, in which the operator gained in-stadium branding and marketing assets.

Aside from football, the company has established a strong presence in tennis, having signed sponsorship agreements with the Hamburg Open, Nordea Open, Miami Open, Noventi Open, and Mercedes Cup competitions.
