BetVictor’s Multi-Fixture Newbury Deal To Include Gold Cup

For the rest of 2021, including the Gold Cup, online betting provider BetVictor has secured a multi-fixture sponsorship deal with Newbury Racecourse.

The relationship will see the organisation sponsor coverage of 41 races across the year through 13 reacedays, starting with the BetVictor March Opening Weekend on March 5 and 6, showcasing the Betvictor ‘Greatwood’ Gold Cup.

Moreover, at the prestigious Al Shaqab Lockinge Day event on 15 May, the operator acquired the naming rights to the BetVictor London Cup and BetVictor Carnovaron Stakes.

Proud to be investing significantly

Matt Scarrott, BetVictor’s Director of Sportsbook said: “We are really looking forward to bringing our sponsorship to life at Newbury Racecourse in 2021 and are excited about this brand-new partnership.

“Horse Racing has long been an important part of BetVictor, we are proud to be investing significantly into the sport with our sponsorship at Newbury as well as our ongoing brand ambassador relationships with participants that excel in racing.”

The collaboration will continue throughout the summer, seeing the bookmaker taking the title reigns of BetVictor Hungerford Raceday and Newbury’s signature concert Party in the Paddock, including a guest appearance by Olly Murs after the fixtures have finished.

Both meetings will be followed at the end of October by the year’s final flat fixture which will close in early November with the BetVictor Jump Season Opener and in December with the BeetVictor Festive Raceday.

Offer of outstanding racing

Lara Johnston, Newbury Racecourse’s Sponsorship Manager, commented: “We are delighted to welcome BetVictor to Newbury Racecourse in this multi-raceday deal for 2021 and are hugely excited about their association with us as we emerge from the pandemic more invigorated than ever to deliver excellent racing for our customers alongside all our partners.

“We are excited to work with the team at BetVictor on some unique digital activation ideas and it is even more positive following the recent government announcement that we will be able to welcome back crowds and bring some of these ideas to life on course.”
