Online sports betting company Betsul has signed a new sponsorship agreement with Atlético Mineiro, a Brazilian first division team. Under the terms of the agreement, which is scheduled to work throughout 2021, the brand ‘s logo will be located on the back of the shorts of the team.
Pedro Melo, Atlético Mineiro sponsorship manager said: “Even in such a difficult scenario due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Atlético has shown the strength of the brand and has obtained another important sponsorship.
“Betsul decided to support the team at an important moment for the club and we count on the participation of our fans to activate this association.”
In addition to the initial investment, the bookmaker has confirmed that each time they deposit on the site, the fans will receive benefits through the links that the team publishes on their official channels.
Fernando Rivas, CEO of Betsul, has explained that the association represents an important step in world football history. “We look forward to getting back even stronger,” he said. “We are going to take advantage of our creativity to contribute to the finances of the club through marketing campaigns, so we can relive the good times that this club has seen in the past.”
Last week, the agreement was first launched with a promotion to deposit money on the site for the first 300 players, which will run until next week. They’ll then compete in a draw to get five jerseys signed by professional players from the team.
Former futsal athlete and twice world champion Falçao is the official Brazilian ambassador for Curaçao based company. Atlético Mineiro also was a national champion.
