Online gaming operator Betsson Group has unveiled a new online casino brand for the Estonian market, Supercasino.ee.
The website will use the same licence as Betsafe, which is another brand of Betsson already operating in the Baltic region.
Aside from hundreds of slot names, players will also be able to benefit from numerous online sports betting and live casino items.
Users based in Estonia will be able to use their bank identity to register for an account with Supercasino.ee. As such, it is easier to register for an account than most conventional operators do.
When they are a customer of SuperCasino, they are awaited by over 500 casino slot machines. Those come from some of the top tech developers in the iGaming industry, including NetEnt, Play N Go and Isoftbet. There are also popular classic table games like blackjack and roulette.
Sports enthusiasts can also benefit from a number of football , basketball, eSports and other betting markets. The in-play betting options are also available, as well as being able to position money before events begin.
The website comes in three languages: Estonian, Russian and English.
As predicted, Estonia ‘s online gaming industry, with a population of just 1.3 million, is by no means as large as the likes of the US and UK. And there is still a great variety of Estonians’ gambling activity.
Betsson Group Commercial Director (CEECA) Kaido Ulejev clarified that the new Estonian SuperCasino brand is part of the wider goals of the company’s expansion. According to a press release from the organisation he said: “Betsson Group has wide-ranging experiences in implementing a multi-brand strategy in various markets, and believes that launching a new brand in Estonia alongside Betsafe was the next logical development for the operator.”
Ulejev also said: “We understood that even in a relatively small market such as Estonia, our consumers form part of different segments.
“These segments are unique, and we needed to launch a new brand in order to address a different segment group.
“The idea behind SuperCasino is to provide simple, accessible entertainment in the best way possible.”
Online gambling is in its 10th year of operation in Estonia, with the sector initially opening in 2010. Initially only local companies were permitted to provide licenced services here, but a year later the regulatory framework was then opened up to international firms.
In 2019, Estonian online casino gaming alone was worth 60 million euros, according to VIXIO GamblingCompliance. Combined, online and land-based sports betting has produced more than € 20 million.
