Betsson Group has signed an extended sportsbook content agreement with Betgenius that will see the company combine the sports betting data and the subscription service provider for the site.
Under the deal, Betsson Group’s brand portfolio will bring live streams for a variety of sports including football , basketball, tennis, and volleyball to Betgenius.
In addition, the data and platform provider will provide live trading, powered by official data, for every fixture. Betgenius will retain the official data rights to each fixture within its streaming portfolio, along with streaming rights.
Richard Scott, Betsson group ‘s Director of Trading, commented: “We’re constantly striving to deliver the best possible product and experience for our customers. The addition of Betgenius live streaming on a range of sporting events is a great way to complement the official data driven pricing.
“The round-the-clock coverage is particularly important as our client base continues to expand in numerous territories.”
In addition to reducing sportsbook turnover, Betsson group will be able to ‘enhance round-the-clock player retention’ by incorporating the Betgenius streaming service.
