Online betting and gaming company Betsson Group has expanded its relationship with Yggdrasil after entering into an exclusive six-month contract with its Betsafe brand in Lithuania.
Under the terms of the agreement, the company will have access to the entire content portfolio of the online gaming solutions provider from the beginning of April. This will include Temple Stacks, the first game of the retailer featuring the new Splitz mechanics providing improved winning potential, as well as the Vikings trilogy and upcoming release Multifly, a game for players who love to multiply their wins.
In addition, Betsafe users within the country will be offered the second Splitz game of Yggdrasil, Neon Rush, launched in April, where players will receive up to 15 Splitz of one kind and have a chance to win big on each spin through six jackpots.
Additionally Betsson will gain access to the range of proprietary in-game promotional tools from Yggdrasil, Boost, which was designed to drive player engagement and retention in the region.
The head of nordics at Yggdrasil, Patrick Nordwall, commented: “Betsson is one of our key customers and we are thrilled to extend our long-lasting partnership and partner with them in a new market.
“We continue to implement our growth strategy in regulated markets, and we are looking forward to offering our games to local players in Lithuania, especially titles featuring our new mechanics Splitz and upcoming Gigablox.”
When the online market was limited, the operator first entered Lithuania in 2016 and operates betsafe.lt in the region. Betsson was also one of the first customers of Yggdrasil since forming a deal in 2014 that has since been extended to cover many jurisdictions including Denmark, Italy, Latvia and Spain.
Ciara Nic Liam, product director at Betsson Group added: “Yggdrasil’s games have been very popular among our customers across all markets since day one of our partnership and we know Lithuania will be no different
“Their ever-growing portfolio of innovative and engaging games will be a great addition to our existing offering.”
