With George Karl, who is only one of nine coaches in NBA history to win over 1,000 games, BetRivers has announced an exclusive content agreement.
As part of BetRivers.com’s latest ‘Bet with a Winner’ initiative, Karl is now joining Rush Street Interactive (RSI), an online casino and sports betting gaming company.
What the collaboration means
The collaboration makes Karl an exclusive endorser of the BetRivers brand for sports betting. He will act as the brand ambassador and spokesman of the company and will be active in the upcoming promotions and activities of the company on its platforms.
As a member of the RSI family, Karl will give BetRivers users on @BetRivers social media, additional digital and traditional media channels with expertise and a unique perspective on the NBA.
Greatest Coach in NBA history
Richard Schwartz, RSI’s President, said: “We are thrilled to partner with one of the greatest coaches in NBA history; someone who has deep roots and a strong passion for the game. George Karl was successful at every level of the sport, and we’re excited for him to bring his enthusiasm and knowledge to the sports betting arena here at BetRivers.com.”
Throughout his illustrious 30-year coaching career, the former Denver Nuggets head coach received the 2013 NBA Coach of the Year award and led five different teams to the playoffs.
He has the sixth-most victories in the history of the NBA regular season as a coach and has coached NBA icons including Ray Allen, Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Allen Iverson, Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton.
Karl commented: “My philosophy to coaching and life has always been about being truthful, honest and real. RSI and BetRivers are developing real and meaningful relationships with their players and I’m looking forward to helping strengthen those ties through this partnership.”
In 1984, Karl made his head coaching debut for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, Seattle SuperSonics, Milwaukee Bucks, Denver Nuggets, and Sacramento Kings will continue to coach 1,999 games. For the Nuggets, there were 680 of those games.
