BetMGM, a sports betting and igaming company, has opened its doors in the state of South Dakota.
After forging an agreement with Liv Hospitality’s Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort and Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resorts last month, the company is now offering retail sports betting in Deadwood.
Around the premises, the Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort has a brand new sportsbook, retail betting windows, big-screen TVs, and betting kiosks.
Guests who prefer to place over-the-counter wagers can do so at Cadillac Jack’s, which offers various betting kiosks and writers stations.
On November 3, 2020, voters in South Dakota approved the state legislature’s proposal to authorise sports betting in the city.
BetMGM’s mobile app is expected to be available at both venues soon, pending regulatory approval, and will supplement the existing retail sportsbook.
Adam Greenblatt, BetMGM’s CEO, said of the initial partnership announcement: “Liv Hospitality’s prime resort locations in Deadwood make it an ideal partner for us. Together, we look forward to bringing the BetMGM sports betting experience to South Dakota sports fans.”
