BetMGM Named Official Betting Partner Of Philadelphia 76ers

BetMGM was named the Official Betting Partner of the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA), shortly after the Pennsylvania debut of the mobile casino and sportsbook app.

The team will be launching a range of 76ers branded casino games in addition to featuring across all of the team’s digital and social media platforms.

The operator will also have prominent signage throughout the arena, including BetMGM logos on the arena baskets.

BetMGM’s C.R.O., Matt Prevost commented: “We’re honoured to be an Official Sports Betting Partner of the 76ers.

“Our recent launch in Pennsylvania has been incredibly successful and this partnership is an exciting opportunity for BetMGM to offer 76ers fans unique ways to engage with their favourite basketball team.”

BetMGM was created out of a collaboration between MGM Resorts International and Entain Plc to deliver online gaming products and sports betting.

The deal will see MGM Resorts’ Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey becoming the Philadelphia 76ers’ Official Away Game Host outside the basketball courts.

When safe to do so, the venue will host on-site activities, most notably a potential co-branded Season Ticket and VIP experience featuring casino games, celebrity appearances by legendary 76ers players, signed memorabilia raffles and other exclusive awards.

On December 23, the Philadelphia 76ers played their first game of the 2020/21 season against the Washington Wizards.

This late start to the year is attributed to the preventive steps of the NBA’s COVID-19, which also limited the season to 72 games.
