BetMGM has announced the addition of online poker to its digital sports betting and casino offerings in Michigan, which were launched in January.
The offering offers consumers access to perks tied to MGM Grand Detroit and MGM Resorts’ casino-resorts worldwide, and it joins New Jersey in receiving BetMGM Poker facilities.
BetMGM Poker is the company’s main online poker brand, operated by the partypoker US network, which also includes Borgata Poker and partypoker US.
Adam Greenblatt, chief executive officer of BetMGM said: “The launch of BetMGM Poker in Michigan fully rounds out our premier gaming portfolio in the state.
‘Incredible early success in Michigan’
“BetMGM’s sports betting and casino offerings have been met with incredible early success in Michigan and we’re thrilled to provide players with another exciting gaming option.”
The service includes a single account convergence with BetMGM’s betting and casino smartphone apps, as well as a “ever-rotating” range of poker models, according to BetMGM.
MGM Grand Detroit, as well as MGM Grand, Bellagio, and Aria in Las Vegas, Borgata in New Jersey, MGM National Harbor in Maryland, and Beau Rivage in Mississippi, are all part of MGM Resorts’ M life Rewards scheme, which allows BetMGM players in Michigan to redeem their gameplay for experiences at MGM Resorts’ US properties.
Ray Stefanelli, BetMGM’s director of poker, added: “The demand for online poker in Michigan was made clear by players across the state. BetMGM Poker is proud to offer them a seat at our tables and we’re confident that BetMGM Michigan customers will enjoy an engaging, reliable and fun poker experience.”
